Gus had come to terms with shooting his mother but he stilled needed to do something in his life. That led him to finding a job and training. While on his search he ran into Inara. She smiled at those who passed and waved at him. He figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask her though it was a surprise when she legitimately gave him an answer.

Gus hasn’t formed an opinion on Inara yet but she seems nice and is very pretty.

He swung by the school after the snow storm. He’d more or less finished repairs before that but snow could be hell on buildings that aren’t used to it. She was teaching outside and he’d taken the chance to not only learn a little bit more about what she teaches but to take a look at a leaky roof.
