She was cute and new so Gus offered to give her a hand. She’d mentioned drinking so he said he’d meet her at a bar and they could talk more. What he didn’t expect was to hear from her brother. As always, family members of cute girls don’t like Gus but he was respectful and offered to lend a hand.

She was fun to talk to and after seeing how protective her family was of her he wanted to protect her too. It’s probably a foolish notion but that had never stopped Gus before. She’s from L.A. and she misses home. Gus doesn’t blame her but then he really doesn’t want to go home. Everything is too fucked up there.
